my name is Paige

I am a librarian by way of AmeriCorps volunteer, community college grad, dreamer attempting to figure out what I am doing. I am basically a child with an adult permit.

There always seems to be an emphasis of describing yourself in a concise manner, and no human being is concise. The average American lives to be approximate 72, and that cannot be summed up in a few sentences. I will try my best not to turn my life into a 140 character Twitter status no matter how palatable that may be for the general public. I understand the purpose of being succinct in describing achievements, accolades, and other milestones. It just feels unfair to ask someone to do that on their own platforms as well.

I have been many things: student, waitress, girlfriend, cat caregiver, researcher, intern, and travel partner to name a few. Some people might attempt to turn these words, these roles, into a coherent creation story (we like our creation stories it seems; to be frank, I do, too). I will try not to be so continuous in my narrative. This is simply a manifestation of that round about, discontinuous path I have taken. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.
